Instrument Hire
The following instruments are available for OSMC students to hire for instrument tuition classes:
Cello
Clarinet
Cornet
Flute
Oboe
Saxophone
Tenor Horn
Trombone
Violin
The cost of hire is $100 per year per instrument hired.
Students enrolled in:
keyboard and/or
percussion
classes at all levels (musicianship & higher level instrument tuition) incur an annual $30.00 maintenance fee per class for the use of these instruments during OSMC class lessons.
Recorders are available to purchase through the OSMC office.
Drum kits, guitars, keyboards, and ukuleles are not available to hire through OSMC. Please contact us at osmcinv@gmail.com if you would like advice on where to purchase these instruments.

The following resources are available to purchase from the Out of School Music Classes office:
Drum pads and drumsticks.
Guitar and violin strings.
Guitar picks.
Instrument cleaning cloths, cork grease, resin, slide oil, valve oil.
Keyboard headphone adapter (note: we do not sell headphones).
Mouthpiece pads (cushions) for clarinets and saxophone.
Musicianship/resources: recorders, desk stand, book bag, clearfiles, tutor book, theory book.
Music stands.
Reeds for clarinet, saxophone, and oboe.
Saxophone neck straps.
Theory books.
Trombone stands.
Tutor books for all relevant instruments.
Violin shoulder rests.
We can source and order any other requirements at competitive prices.
Items can be purchased at the OSMC office on Saturdays during the office open hours (8.00 am - 1.00 pm). Resources can be charged to your account to pay via internet banking or paid in person with cash only (no Eftpos available).
